Five-Wavelength LED System

The P4 incorporates 450, 525, 633, 660, and 850 nm installed wavelengths, with 4,320 LEDs dedicated to each wavelength.

Surrounding Full-Body Configuration

Upper and lower LED arrays position light above and below the user, providing 360° whole-body light exposure in a capsule-style configuration.

High-Density LED Array

Integrated Touchscreen Controls

Active Cooling & Temperature Protection

Active fan cooling supports equipment temperature management, while automatic temperature protection monitors operating temperature and can restrict light output when temperature limits are reached.

A separate three-speed comfort fan allows airflow to be adjusted during a session.

Bluetooth Audio

The integrated Bluetooth audio system includes two speakers and allows a compatible phone or tablet to be paired for audio playback.

Shipping & Receiving

The P4 weighs approximately 287 lb (130 kg). Suitable lifting equipment and enough trained personnel should be used when moving or positioning the capsule.

Before unpacking, inspect the shipment for visible carton, pallet, or moisture damage and photograph any damage. After unpacking, inspect the canopy, bench, acrylic panels, hinges, hydraulic supports, touchscreen, cables, power cord, factory NEMA L6-30P plug, and accessories before installation.

Do not energize a damaged unit.

Installation Location

Install the P4 indoors on a level, stable surface in a clean, dry environment.

The installation location should be away from direct sunlight, dust, metal powder, oil mist, steam, salt, vibration, impact, and corrosive materials.

Maintain at least 12 in (30 cm) of clearance from walls and approximately 39 in (1 m) of working clearance wherever operator or service access is required.

Air intakes, exhausts, and cooling openings must remain unobstructed.

Electrical Requirements

The P4 requires a dedicated 220 V AC, 30 A grounded branch circuit installed and verified by a qualified electrician.

The capsule is supplied with a factory NEMA L6-30P locking plug, which connects directly to a matching NEMA L6-30R locking receptacle.

The connection uses 30 A, 250 V AC rated, 2-pole, 3-wire grounding hardware with no neutral conductor.

Do not use an adapter, converter, extension cable, power strip, alternate receptacle, or modified plug.

Qualified Installation

The P4 is normally delivered assembled. Installation, first-time setup checks, internal service, and electrical work should be completed by qualified personnel.

If the canopy and bench must be joined on site because of access or delivery-route requirements, trained installers and suitable lifting equipment are required. Do not field-disassemble the capsule without guidance from Protocol⁴.

Pre-Installation Electrical Verification

Before installation, a qualified electrician should verify the dedicated branch circuit, equipment-grounding path, conductor sizing, overcurrent protection, NEMA L6-30R receptacle, and disconnect in accordance with the unit rating label and applicable electrical requirements.

The factory NEMA L6-30P plug should not be altered.

First-Time Setup

Before the P4 is placed into service, the installer should confirm that the capsule is level and stable, the canopy opens and remains properly supported, mechanical connections are secure, cables are correctly connected, acrylic panels are intact, and all air openings are unobstructed.

The initial functional check includes verifying the touchscreen, timer, preset and manual selections, fan speeds, audio, pause/resume/stop controls, upper and lower light arrays, and equipment cooling.

Important Delivery & Installation Note

Confirm that the delivery route and intended installation space can accommodate the P4's approximately 76 × 34 × 32 in dimensions and 287 lb weight before delivery.

Restricted access, relocation, or separation of the canopy from the bench may require advance coordination with Protocol⁴ and trained installation personnel.

Product configuration and installation requirements should always be verified against the unit rating label and current documentation supplied with the purchased P4.

Eligible Returns

Eligible Protocol⁴ products may be returned within 30 days of purchase, subject to the manufacturer's return requirements.

To qualify for a return, the product must be sealed, unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.

Proof of purchase is required.

Non-Returnable Products

Due to their specialized nature and applicable regulatory requirements, prescription products, injectables, and related items are not eligible for returns or refunds.

One-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty

The P4 Red Light Capsule is covered by a one-year limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use, beginning on the original purchase date, unless different terms are provided in writing at the time of sale.

Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Warranty Coverage

If a covered defect is confirmed during the warranty period, the manufacturer may elect to:

• Repair the defective product or component.
• Replace the defective product or component.
• Provide a substantially equivalent replacement unit.

Replacement parts or units may be new or refurbished and are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.

Conditions for Coverage

Proof of purchase and the unit serial number are required for a warranty claim.

The P4 must be installed, operated, cleaned, and maintained according to the manufacturer's instructions. Warranty concerns must be reported during the applicable warranty period.

Warranty Exclusions

The limited warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:

• Misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, impact, spills, fire, flooding, or improper transport.
• Unauthorized repair, modification, disassembly, software changes, parts, or accessories.
• Failure to follow operating, cleaning, maintenance, or safety instructions.
• Incorrect or unstable electrical supply, altered or incompatible power connections, power surges, unsuitable room conditions, or other external causes.
• Normal wear, consumable items, or cosmetic damage that does not affect operation.
• Use outside the product's intended wellness applications.

Warranty Claims

Warranty claims should be submitted through Aurum Apex during the warranty period, before shipping, opening, modifying, repairing, or discarding any part of the capsule.

Claims may require proof of purchase, model and serial number, a description of the issue, alarm information, and requested photographs or videos.

The manufacturer may request troubleshooting, inspection, return, or evaluation before determining whether an issue is covered. Products returned without prior authorization may be refused.

Service & Related Costs

For a confirmed covered defect, the manufacturer may repair or replace the affected product or component, provide replacement parts, or arrange qualified service when necessary.

The purchaser may be responsible for shipping, handling, insurance, packaging, removal, installation, travel, or labor costs unless the written warranty or applicable law provides otherwise.

Routine Maintenance

Regular inspection, cleaning, and preventive maintenance help keep the Protocol⁴ P4 operating as intended. Follow the maintenance schedule in the current P4 Instruction Manual and remove the capsule from service if a condition affecting safe operation is identified.

Before Each Session

Inspect the room, power cord, NEMA L6-30P plug, NEMA L6-30R receptacle, acrylic surfaces, canopy supports, controls, and ventilation openings.

Confirm that components are clean, dry, secure, undamaged, properly connected, and unobstructed before use.

Daily Checks

Check the fans, operating temperature, sound, vibration, light output, and touchscreen for normal operation.

Stop use if there is unusual heat or odor, abnormal noise or vibration, uneven or flickering light output, or an alarm or other unexpected operating condition.

Weekly Maintenance

Inspect and clean the exterior, seams, ventilation openings, and connector areas.

Keep these areas free of dust and debris and prevent liquid from entering vents, seams, controls, or electrical connections.

Six-Month Inspection

At least every six months, qualified personnel should inspect the:

Cleaning After Each Session

Allow the programmed cooling cycle to finish before cleaning.

Switch off the branch-circuit disconnect, wait at least three minutes, and then unlock and remove the NEMA L6-30P plug before cleaning the interior or areas near electrical components.

Use a Protocol⁴-approved, nonabrasive, acrylic-safe cleaner applied to a soft cloth rather than directly to the capsule. Clean user-contact surfaces carefully and allow all surfaces to dry completely before reconnecting power.

Do not use abrasive pads, paper towels on acrylic, unapproved solvents or cleaners, steam, pressure spray, or soaking-wet cloths.

Acrylic Inspection

Inspect acrylic surfaces for cracks, crazing, deep scratches, looseness, or sharp edges.

A damaged acrylic panel is a stop-use condition and should be evaluated and replaced before another session.

After Relocation or Service

After relocation or service, recheck the capsule's level and stability, required clearances, dedicated 220 V AC / 30 A electrical circuit, NEMA L6-30 connection, and system functions before returning the P4 to use.

Service & Replacement Parts

Internal electrical systems, power supplies, wiring, grounding, controls, light arrays, cooling fans, touchscreen, sensors, software, internal connectors, hinges, hydraulic supports, and other structural or safety-related components require qualified service.

Use only replacement parts that meet applicable Protocol⁴ specifications. Maintenance and service records should document the date, findings, work performed, replacement parts, service provider, and test results.

General Wellness Use

The Protocol⁴ P4 Red Light Capsule is intended for general wellness, relaxation, comfort, recovery, and lifestyle applications.

It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, monitor, or prevent disease, injury, or a medical condition unless Protocol⁴ provides separate written authorization for a specific regulated use.

FDA / Regulatory Disclosure

Protocol⁴'s current P4 Instruction Manual identifies the P4 as a general wellness product and does not state that the P4 Red Light Capsule is FDA cleared or FDA approved.

Before Use

Use supplied or approved opaque eye protection throughout light exposure.

The operator should remain available during the session and the user should know how to request or initiate a stop.

Health Screening & Precautions

Protocol⁴ instructs users to obtain appropriate clearance before use in circumstances including:

Do not continue operating the P4 if it is damaged, malfunctioning, unusually hot, wet, unstable, emitting an unusual odor, or otherwise behaving unexpectedly.

Electrical & Operating Safety

The P4 requires the specified dedicated 220 V AC / 30 A grounded branch circuit and factory NEMA L6-30 electrical connection.

Do not use adapters, converters, extension cables, power strips, alternate receptacles, or modified plugs.

Keep the capsule dry and away from pools, showers, sinks, steam, and other locations where liquid could enter the equipment.

Do not block ventilation or cooling openings, use unapproved accessories or replacement parts, open the housing, or attempt unauthorized internal repairs.
